Where are my documents stored?
Only on your iPhone or iPad, inside Quire. There is no account and no cloud service. Use Settings → Back up library to save a backup file wherever you like, for example iCloud Drive.

Translation asks to download a language.
Quire uses Apple’s on-device translation. The first time you translate into a language, iOS downloads that language pack; after that it works offline.

Auto capture fires too early, or never.
Tap Auto in the camera’s top right to switch to Manual, then use the shutter. In Auto, Quire waits until the whole page is in view and the phone is steady.

How do I move documents to a new phone?
Settings → Back up library, save the file, then on the new phone Settings → Restore from a backup.
